Who runs WatchFold

WatchFold is run by Martin Valovic, one person, not a company. It started because watching a two hour talk to find the four ideas in it is a bad trade.

Here is what it does. It reads the public transcript of a YouTube video, then writes a digest: a verdict on whether the video is worth your time, the argument in a few sentences, the takeaways with timestamps you can jump to and a short list of things to act on. For creators it also writes a teardown of why a video works plus drafts you can publish.

Right now every new video is folded by hand. There is no automatic pipeline yet, so when you paste a link it goes on a list and gets folded when I get to it. Everything already folded is free to read, with no account. The library is the whole collection.
