What WatchFold stores

When a video is folded, WatchFold keeps the video id, its title, the channel name, the public transcript plus the digest and teardown written from it. The video itself is never copied. Thumbnails are loaded from YouTube where they are hosted, not stored here.

There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and no personal data to hold. When you paste a link, that link is stored so the video can be folded. If you email, that email sits in a normal inbox.

Pages stay up until someone asks for them to come down. Made the video and want its page removed or corrected? Email hello@watchfold.com with the link and it comes down within a few days. No argument, no form.

A digest quotes a video the way a review quotes a book: the point is to send people to the original, which every page links to at the top.
